Furniture Donation
Join the revolution against waste and crime with the
Repair Restore Respect Project, an initiative that transforms unwanted
furniture into opportunities for change and empowerment for young people.
Why this matters
In the UK, millions of tons of furniture are needlessly sent to landfill sites each year, contributing to environmental degradation.
Environmental Impact of NOT donating your furniture.
Donating old, unwanted furniture instead of discarding it is crucial for mitigating climate change impacts.
Here's Why
When furniture is sent to landfill, it decomposes and releases methane—a potent greenhouse gas that significantly contributes to climate change. Methane emissions from landfill are a major environmental concern, as methane is much more effective at trapping heat in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide.

Make A Donation
By donating furniture and promoting a circular economy within your community, you help decrease the demand for new furniture production. This reduction in manufacturing not only cuts down on greenhouse gas emissions associated with production processes but also helps conserve natural resources like timber.

When you donate your furniture to the Repair Restore Respect Project, you're not just clearing space; you're providing invaluable resources for training young minds in the art of up-cycling.
This isn't just about sustainability, it's about shaping futures and instilling a passion for environmental stewardship.

Before You Donate
To cover the cost of our collection service and support our youth programs and workshops, we need to ensure that the items you donate can be sold in our online stores and marketplaces.
Our collection team will not accept items that cannot be sold.
This means items must meet legal and health and safety standards and be in good condition.
